Canadian with hantavirus was isolating with partner
A Canadian isolating in British Columbia has tested positive for hantavirus. The province’s top doctor says the patient – a senior from Yukon who was isolating with their partner – developed mild symptoms, including a fever and a headache. The patient is among four Canadian cruise ship passengers isolating on Vancouver Island, following a hantavirus outbreak on board. Nathaniel Dove reports on our top story tonight.
