Zelenskiy disagrees with countries telling diplomatic staff to leave, says Ukraine isn’t the ‘Titanic’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy said Friday that he disagreed with countries telling non-essential diplomatic staff to leave the country, saying embassy employees should remain in the country even amid growing tensions with Russia, adding “I don’t think we have a Titanic here.” Recently several countries including the U.S., Canada and U.K. have evacuated non-essential staff and the families of diplomats for, what they say, is out of an abundance of caution.
