Carney responds to Trump’s 100% tariff threat, says China deal consistent with CUSMA
Prime Minister Mark Carney responded Sunday to U.S. President Donald Trump's threats of 100 per cent tariffs on Canadian imports to the U.S. over Canada's new trade relationships with China. Speaking in Ottawa, Carney said the Canadian government was focused on protecting Canadians, "protecting our border, protecting our way of life and supporting Canadians."
