Calandra says he could remove all Ontario English public school trustees ‘in one fell swoop’ if he wanted to
Ontario Education Minister Paul Calandra said Friday that some school boards in Ontario will not be closed or amalgamated because of the government’s plan to overhaul their governance structure. He added that English public-school trustees do not have constitutional or Charter rights and said, “I could strike a pen tomorrow and rid myself of all of them in one fell swoop.”
