While she has since broadened the scope of her reporting, she got her start at a local outlet in Peel Region on the environment beat. There she received numerous awards and recognition for her in-depth exposés on the Ontario government’s climate policies.
After moving to Toronto, Morgan spent nearly two years working as a web editor for markets in Kitchener, Ottawa, Halifax and Vancouver, where she learned how to optimize SEO.
Morgan holds a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and is working towards her MA.
