Marissa Turton is a Writer and Producer at Global News Winnipeg. Marissa has two years’ experience working in the media, starting out as an intern at 680 CJOB. Her leap from intern to news anchor broke a record in the local market for being the youngest hire! Marissa now works on the Global News Morning team as a writer/producer, and also helps with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers broadcasts. In her spare time Marissa enjoys watching sports, particularly the CFL.
