Canada has ‘no intention’ of joining Iran war, was ‘not consulted’ by US, Israel before: McGuinty
During a press conference showcasing new Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) vehicles in Brampton, Ont., on Tuesday, Canada’s Defence Minister David McGuinty was asked what level of involvement, if any, Canada has in the ongoing war in Iran. “Canada was not consulted before this conflict began. Canada has not participated in this conflict. And Canada has no intention of doing so,” McGuinty said. He added that “We have members of the CAF in the region, but they are not involved in the prosecution of this war.”
