Stephanie Swensrude joined the 630 CHED team in Oct. 2022 after working as a multimedia reporter at CFJC in Kamloops.
A graduate from the Radio and Television Program at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) in Edmonton, Alta., Stephanie is passionate about municipal politics, transit, and urban planning.
She was the head of news at the NAIT student newspaper, The Nugget, where she developed a love for features and analytic pieces.
Stephanie previously worked in communications at CBC Edmonton. Prior to her life in broadcast, Stephanie was a theater actor. In her spare time she likes to knit, rollerskate, cook and hang out with her two cats, Juno and Pepper.
