Gates Guarin is a Digital Broadcast Journalist with Global Saskatoon.
Prior to joining Global News in January 2023, Gates was a reporter with CHAT News in Medicine Hat, Alberta. Starting as an intern, he worked his way up to Senior Reporter and backup News Anchor and Producer, covering some of the largest stories of 2022 in Medicine Hat, including extreme summer weather, by-elections and historical building fires.
When Gates is not busy reporting, he likes to spend his time with board games and video games, travelling and watching films and sports.
