Iris Dyck is a Digital Broadcast Journalist and Video Journalist at Global News Winnipeg.
Iris has been working at Global News Winnipeg since May 2022. Before pursuing Creative Communications at Red River College Polytechnic, Iris spent 10 years working in the restaurant industry and doing odd jobs. Â She was hired as a part-time shooter/editor at Global News during her final work placement and then transitioned to a full-time reporter role. Iris is the recipient of the 2022 Dawna Friesen Award through RRC Polytech. One of her career highlights includes telling people-focused stories like the KUB Bakery story. Iris enjoys cycling, camping, cross-country skiing, and cooking.
