18-year-old dead, 4 injured after crash northeast of Goderich, Ont.: OPP

OPP say one person has died and four people were injured after a crash northeast of Goderich on Saturday night.

Police say emergency crews responded around 11:50 p.m. to a single-vehicle collision on Golf Course Road west of Lucknow Line.

A heavily damaged vehicle left the road and ended up in a field, OPP say.

Police say all five people inside the car were rushed to hospital.

An 18-year-old died while four people suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The deceased has been identified as Euan Muir of Goderich.

Golf Course Road was closed between Lucknow Line and Council Line but has since reopened.
