Julia Foy

News reporter Julia Foy joined the Global News team in the spring of 2013. She is an award-winning journalist with more than three decades of experience in broadcast news.
Julia attended BCIT’s Broadcast Journalism program, and went on to work at CKNW, CKPG, CISL radio.
Her television career began at CKVU (currently CityTV) before moving to CTV Vancouver and then Global BC.
Julia has been honoured for her work with awards from the Jack Webster Foundation, British Columbia Association of Broadcasters and Radio TV and Online News Directors Association.
When she is not reporting she is busy teaching part-time and full-time students at her alma mater; BCIT’s Broadcast and Online Journalism program.
