Man arrested after vehicles set on fire in Dartmouth

A 30-year-old man has been arrested after allegedly setting vehicles on fire in Dartmouth early Sunday morning.

Halifax Regional Police say they were called to the vehicle fires outside of a business on Wyse Road at around 4:40 a.m.

Halifax Fire and Emergency attended and extinguished the fire. There were no injuries.

In a updated news release Sunday afternoon, police said the suspect was arrested Sunday morning.

He’s been released from custody and is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth court at a later date to face charges of arson, mischief, property damage and breach of previously imposed conditions.
