Driver charged after North Vancouver hit-and-run sends one person to hospital

A driver has been charged after a hit-and-run in North Vancouver Friday night that sent a person to hospital.

It happened at 5th Street and Lonsdale around 8 p.m.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

North Vancouver RCMP said Saturday the vehicle and driver have been located, and the driver is now facing hit-and-run charges. It’s not known where the driver and vehicle were found.

The victim has since been released from hospital with minor injuries, police confirmed.
