Tristan Field-Jones
News Anchor
Tristan has done almost every job imaginable since joining 680 CJOB in 2012. He started as a board operator and news anchor on evenings and weekends. He became Charles Adler’s producer in 2014.
When Adler left for Vancouver, Tristan continued as a technical producer and audio editor for the station. Currently, he’s the afternoon news anchor and also regularly fills in as host.
Tristan has won four Radio Television Digital News Association awards for his journalism, most recently for a feature profiling Manitobans lost to COVID-19.
In his spare time, Tristan will partake in storm chasing during the summer and will often post pictures on Twitter. He’s also an avid gamer and enjoys debating all sorts of issues with his friends and colleagues. Frequently, he talks way too much and should probably get back to work.
