Katherine Dornian is a Digital Broadcast Journalist with Global News Winnipeg.
Katherine has been working in the media industry for approximately one year. Katherine obtained her master’s degree in journalism from the University of British Columbia. During her studies, she interned at CBC Vancouver in radio and at The Georgia Straight in print. After graduating, Katherine worked for a communications company before getting her first TV job in Dawson Creek, BC in 2022. While in Dawson Creek, Katherine gained experience reporting, producing, and anchoring. She then moved to Winnipeg to take on her current role at Global News.
In her spare time, Katherine enjoys outdoor activities like hiking and skiing, but also enjoys relaxing at home with a good book or playing Dungeons and Dragons.
