The Forest Lawn Community Association has created a memorial called 'veterans sidewalks' at 36 st. and 8 ave, S.E in honour of those who served for Canada.

Calgary police said the school's resource officer was nearby, and they were able to find and arrested the suspect with the help of patrol officers in the Forest Lawn area.
