Canada election results: North Vancouver

A Liberal cabinet minister is projected to win re-election in the riding of North Vancouver.

Jonathan Wilkinson, who has served as the Minister of Environment and Climate Change, had nearly 45 per cent of the vote with 94 per cent of polls reporting, ahead of Conservative candidate Les Jickling and Tammy Bentz of the NDP.

While this area has historically been conservative, North Vancouver has gone back and forth between the Liberals and Conservatives in recent years.
