Arson suspected in Moncton nightclub fire

MONCTON, N.B. – The RCMP in New Brunswick say someone deliberately set fire to nightclub in downtown Moncton early Wednesday.

The fire broke out around 5 a.m. at the Old Cosmo.

Police say evidence has been seized from the scene at 125 Westmorland St.

The Mounties also said they are investigating another suspicious fire at an abandoned house on Wesley Street.

They say the two fires are not believed to be linked.
