Alberta RCMP have charged a Red Deer man with 19 different offences after what they call a “targeted abduction.”
Officers launched the investigation on Feb. 7 after an Edmonton woman called police saying one of her relatives had been abducted in Red Deer.
In a Monday news release, RCMP said police arrested the suspect during the high-risk takedown of a stolen vehicle in the community of Highland Green.
