Jasmine King joined Global Edmonton’s newsroom in August 2023.

Jasmine also reoprted on the Edmonton Oilers’ historic playoff runs in 2024 and 2025, which saw the team make back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals.
She began her broadcast career as an intern at Prime Time Local News in Lloydminster. She was then hired as a reporter and shortly after, moved into an anchor role.
Jasmine then moved to Kelowna, B.C. in 2022, to join Global Okanagan, where she worked as a video journalist reporting on a wide variety of stories throughout the valley, including wildfires, flooding, crime and more.
A graduate of the radio and television program at NAIT in 2019, Jasmine grew up just north of the city in Morinville.
When she’s not working, Jasmine can be found playing sports, hanging out with friends and family, and spending time with her dog, Benny.
