It won't have an impact this year or even next but it's hoped a major funding announcement will prevent devastating floods in the future --along Mill Creek in Kelowna. The Federal Minister of Public Safety was in the Okanagan today where he announced millions of dollars for flood mitigation work. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it comes as a relief to those who live along the creek.
