Monte Lake fire grows to 150 hectares
Description
July 27, 2017
The Martin Mountain Wildfire that sparked Wednesday near Monte Lake has already grown to 150 hectares. It forced the evacuation of dozens of properties Wednesday and closed a highway overnight. However, the good news is that the size of the blaze held steady Thursday and crews now have it 30 per cent contained. Megan Turcato has more on the latest major fire to hit our region.
