The intersection of Yonge Street and Balm Beach Road at Highway 93 will remain closed for the next several hours.

At about 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers were dispatched to a break-in on Yonge Street between Simcoe Boulevard and Hamelin Lane, OPP say.

Festival organizers say approximately 200 vendors will be on hand in Midland on Saturday to sell between 150,000 and 200,000 tarts.

The trial is expected to resume in a Barrie, Ont., court later this week.
