Multiple police units have responded to an incident near Moncton High School, although officials say the incident is under control and the school remains open.
The Anglophone East School District has confirmed that there was an incident between two students, although they declined to provide more information.

Mike BeLong, principal of Moncton High School distributed an email to parents that said the incident occurred over the lunch hour just off of school property.
“The incident involved injury to one student by another student,” BeLong wrote in the email. “There is no life threatening injuries to the student injured.”
New Brunswick RCMP have not responded to multiple requests for comment.
