Vernon told to reinstate fired fire department staff
Description
March 19, 2019
Almost a year ago, two Vernon fire department employees were caught on camera fooling around at work. The entire encounter lasted less than a minute and a half, but the captain and the dispatcher were fired.
Now an arbitration panel has ruled both employees should be reinstated. As Megan Turcato reports, the ruling is not going over well at city hall.
