Warning: Some of the details of this story may be disturbing. A Saskatchewan man’s story of horrific abuse endured as a child in the foster system was always his word alone. Believing his reports of abuse were ignored, he used the freedom of information system to access his file. He says that while his allegations had indeed been documented, the files also show little was done to protect him. As Melissa Ridgen reports, the man is on a mission for justice and systemic reform.
