Global News has learned that the Okanagan man accused of beating a 79-year-old woman is her son
Description
May 6, 2019
It was an assault that rattled the community--a 79-year-old West Kelowna woman badly beaten and left in the back country. Shortly after, a man was arrested and charged with attempted murder. Police revealed only that the victim and accused were well known to each other but as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, we now know the two are related.
