The force says the collision occurred around 6:40 a.m. at the intersection of Bank Street and St. Paul Avenue, in the area of the South Keys Shopping Centre.
The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
The driver, a 49-year-old man, was taken to hospital and later pronounced dead, according to a police spokesperson.
