A driving examiner from central Labrador has been charged with breach of trust after allegedly soliciting money from people taking their driving tests.
Happy Valley-Goose Bay RCMP say 43-year-old Scott Norman was arrested and charged Wednesday.

He was released from custody and is scheduled to return to court on July 29.
RCMP say Norman was a driving examiner with the provincial motor registration division in Happy Valley-Goose Bay when the crimes are alleged to have occurred.
Cpl. Jolene Garland said Norman is accused of inappropriately soliciting funds during the driving examination process. She could not confirm at what point during the test the alleged crimes occurred nor whether a passing grade was offered in return.

Police say there are likely more victims and are encouraging anyone with information to come forward.
