Vanilla Ice — and his flow like a harpoon, daily and nightly — is coming to the East Coast.

MC Vanilla will headline the 90’s House Party tour when it makes a stop at Truro’s Rath Eastlink Community Centre (RECC) on June 1.

Truro is Vanilla’s only stop in Nova Scotia during the tour. He’ll be joined by fellow iconic ‘90s rap and R&B stars All 4 One and Rob Base.

“We wanted to offer something fun and different to create a night of nostalgia that will take people back to a time in their lives that they really enjoyed,” said RECC manager Matt Moore in a news release.

“The 90’s were an incredible era for music and I have no doubt that the fashions, performers and audience alike are going to be fresh.”

Vanilla Ice, All 4 One and Rob Base are best known for ‘90s-defining hits that include Ice Ice Baby, Play that Funky Music, I Swear, All My Life, It Takes Two, and more.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 1 a.m. and start at $59.75 plus taxes and fees. Tickets for the Salty Dog’s VIP Party Pit will cost you an extra $40, but you get free post-concert shuttle service and cover to the ’90s after party at Belly Up BBQ + GRILL, as well as other perks.
