A Nova Scotia man is facing various charges after a suspect was allegedly seen running towards a home wearing a balaclava and carrying a rifle.

RCMP say they responded just before 1 p.m. on March 4 to a call on Old Halifax Road in Stanley, N.S.

Residents of a home reported that they saw a man — wearing a balaclava, camouflage clothing, and carrying a rifle with a scope — running towards their home.

Officers and an RCMP dog were able to arrest the suspect without incident. No one was hurt.
