Peterborough police are ruffling a few feathers trying to find the owners of chickens left in a parking lot earlier this week.
On Monday, police say two crates of live chickens were found in the parking lot of the Millbrook and District Lions Club on County Road 40, just south of Peterborough.
Police say the chickens were taken to a local farm where they remain until the rightful owner is found.
The chickens were found in the lot, located on County Road 10 at Larmer Line in Millbrook, on June 25. The chickens were relocated to a local farm.
