Residents of East Vancouver were surprised to discover Neo-Nazi flyers stuffed into their mailboxes recently.
The flyers feature a likeness to Adolf Hitler and an advertisement for a documentary promising to tell the real truth about Nazi Germany.
They were found in mailboxes in the East Vancouver neighbourhood of Collingwood.
It’s not the first time racist flyers have been found in the Lower Mainland — they also showed up in Richmond, New Westminster and Abbotsford.
“There are a variety of white supremacist groups organizing in Metro Vancouver,” said Imtiaz Popat with the Coalition Against Bigotry Pacific.
“It’s surprising we’re seeing this here in East Vancouver where a lot of large numbers of immigrant communities live.”
