Parents swear McDonald’s Minions toys utter F-word

TORONTO — McDonald’s denied Thursday that its Minions toys are cursing.

The fast food chain, which is distributing the yellow figurines to promote the new Minions movie, was forced to address social media buzz claiming the toys utter “What the f***?”

“Minions speak ‘Minionese’ which is a random combination of many languages and nonsense words and sounds,” McDonald’s explained in a statement.

“Minionese has no translation to, or meaning in any recognized language. And perceived similarities to words used within the English language is purely coincidental.”

Florida grandfather Bradley Merten told WFTV he was shocked by what he heard when he got a Minion toy in a Happy Meal.

“It turned out to be a toy that decided to talk profanity,” said Merten. “I can’t believe it’s coming out of a toy.”

Ohio dad Taylor King told Fox 28: “I heard what it said and I’m like, ‘whoa, hang on here. It clearly says what it says.”
