Suzanne Lapointe

Suzanne Lapointe is a video journalist with Global News in Moncton.
She joined Global News in November 2021, having previously worked with CBC and Radio-Canada as well as some freelance work.
Suzanne is a graduate from Université de Moncton’s journalism program.
Having moved to Moncton from Ontario at a young age, she considers herself to be an “Acadienne d’adoption” a term for come from aways who have integrated themselves into Acadian culture.
She is fluent in English, French, and Chiac, a distinctive type of Franglais mixing Acadian French and Canadian English native to southeastern New Brunswick.
When she’s not covering the news, you can spot her in the crowd at local music shows and theatre performances.
