Born and raised in the Toronto suburb of Newmarket, Ontario, Mossop’s TV career began in 2010 when he was invited to join the late-night talk show 1 Girl, 5 Gays. A registered nurse specializing in inner-city health, he jumped at the opportunity as a way to reach beyond his regular practice and promote healthy lifestyles to a wider audience.

Mossop appeared as a regular panellist throughout the show’s six seasons. He then went on to join MTV’s The After Show (Jersey Shore and Snooki & JWOWW editions) and Vancouver’s Outlook TV.

“I am excited to be joining Canada’s top entertainment news team,” said Mossop. “I look forward to bringing my unique perspective and passion for fashion, health, and celebrity culture to the stories I cover for ET Canada on air and online.”

Mossop makes his ET Canada debut tonight at 7:30 p.m. ET/PT on Global TV.
