TORONTO — Jimmy Fallon said Friday night he is “drugged,” “blessed” and “doing well” after having surgery on his hand.
Earlier in the day, The Tonight Show cancelled a taping because Fallon was injured.
“He’s totally fine but we’ll be airing a repeat,” reads a tweet from the late night show’s official account.
According to a statement from his rep, Fallon “was required to have minor surgery after injuring his hand at his Manhattan apartment this morning.”
The 40-year-old is expected to make a full recovery.
In 2011, Fallon had a mole removed from his left hand on The Dr. Oz Show.
Fallon and his wife Nancy have two young daughters.
