An Okanagan woman loses hundreds of dollars in an elaborate phone scam involving Google Play cards
Description
August 14, 2019
Another Okanagan resident has fallen victim to what police describe as an elaborate scam. The woman lost $900 but it nearly cost her double that. And she's not the only one who's fallen for the fraudsters. There's been a number of local residents this summer alone who have paid the price, some a very hefty one. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
