They are cute and cuddly but they’re also on a mission. A mission to help sick patients and the elderly. Therapy dogs often make the rounds at Kelowna General Hospital and care homes. They are part of an organization called Pets and People Visiting Society and as Klaudia van Emmerik reports, the working dogs literally bring tears of joy to many of the patients they visit.
