North Okanagan woman surprised by cougar encounter
Description
April 22, 2019
A Spalumcheen woman was surprised when her cat Luna ran past her while the two were outside. When she turned around to see what scared her cat, she saw a cougar jumping over her fence. The cougar ran up a tree near the edge of her property, and other people nearby came to see what was happening. Despite a slight scare, everybody was safe and largely unbothered by the cougar's presence.
