The Vernon fire department has been plagued by scandal lately. That includes a lawsuit launched by the former chief and a contentious labour dispute over the firing of two longtime staff members. Now there’s word a report was prepared three years ago that found a host of problems in the department. However, as Megan Turcato reports, the city says the document will remain a secret.
