Ministry of Transportation says there’s a 50-50 chance of Highway 97 partially re-opening near Summerland Wednesday afternoon
Description
February 5, 2019
It's been four days since a rockslide closed highway 97 near Summerland. There is some hope tonight that the highway could partially re-open by late tomorrow afternoon but there's only a 50-50 chance of that happening. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, it's not known if this slide is connected to a nearby major fault that forced the highway's closure a decade ago.
