It was a surprise last minute guilty plea. Jury selection was scheduled to start on Monday in the trial of a Vernon man accused of a series of arsons dating back to 2014. Instead he admitted responsibility for seven of the fires, including the blaze that destroyed the Kin Racetrack grandstand.
