New $300 bus fee for some Vernon students
Description
September 4, 2018
In Vernon, the first day of the new school year is Wednesday, and for some families, it means a sizeable new bill. A new busing fee means some parents will have to pay hundreds of dollars a year to get their kids to school. As Megan Turcato reports, the new charges come at the same time that another form of busing becomes free for some children.
