The Okanagan is usually a tourist mecca but for many people the valley wasn't the destination of choice last summer. A bad flood and fire season kept tourists away, hitting some businesses hard. Now as another tourist season is about to begin, it's hoped the lessons learned from last year will help in the event of more natural disasters. Klaudia Van Emmerik reports.
