It was an urgent call for help. Last week, both the SPCA shelters in Kelowna and Penticton appealed to the community for help to support more than 40 badly neglected dogs. With so many animals in their care, the shelters were in dire need of all kinds of donations. And as Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, the public has overwhelmed the shelters with its generosity.
