They are common in apartment buildings and large stores, and now elevators are becoming more popular in private homes. With an aging population in the Okanagan, local residents are keeping elevator companies busy. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, many are hoping the amenity allows them to live in their multi-storey homes longer.
