A resounding no last night from Summerland council as it debated a biosolid compost facility proposed by the regional district. It was standing room only as residents lined up at the podium to voice their opposition and convince councillors that this type of facility does not belong in their community. As Klaudia Van Emmerik reports, while the efforts paid off, the residents aren't letting their guards down just yet.
