September 4, 2017
New video of the fight against the Finlay Creek blaze in the hills between Peachland and Summerland. The B.C. Wildfire Service gathering these images from the bird-dog aircraft guiding the aircraft dropping water and retardant on the blaze. This video taken on Saturday gives a unique view of the low altitude maneuvering around smoke and mountains that's required to hit the bulls eye. 75 people have been evacuated from 55 properties west of Summerland. The blaze also impacting Peachland.
